Lillian was the second of nine children in the Foote family. While still living in Foote’s Cove she met and later married Pat Fitzpatrick from Marystown. She was a kind and loving person whose main concern was caring for her family. When she retired she moved from St. John’s to Lewin’s Cove and later cared for her parents until their passing. She loved music, dancing, and playing cards. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and joy—a gathering place where family, friends, and even strangers found comfort, laughter, and love. Known for her open heart, Lillian was a “mom” to all—a source of wisdom, a fierce protector, and a steadfast cheerleader for everyone she welcomed into her life. She lit up every room with her spirit, always the first to step onto the dance floor and the last to leave. If you met Lillian, you never forgot her, and she never forgot you. Her door was always open and there was a smile on her face.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. “We listen. We learn. We walk with you.”
