June Elizabeth Masters

April 22nd, 1972 – May 5th, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of June Elizabeth Masters at age 53, in the home she loved. A beloved partner, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

June leaves behind her loving partner Phillip Hickman of 31 years; parents Susie & David Masters; sons David Masters (Courtney), Cecil Masters (Kerrilynn), Phillip Hickman (Amber; daughter Iris Myatt (Matthew); her precious grandchildren who were her pride and joys Kinsley, Jaxson, Blair, Parker, Brady, special niece Nicolette Rowe; sister Sheri Masters (Rodney Spurrell), special friend Anne Marie Frances, a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins, and very large circle of friends.

Predeceased by grandparents Ellen & Cecil White, Annie & Norman Masters, sister Lisa Masters.

June enjoyed spending time at the camper with family & friends playing cornhole while enjoying a cold beverage or a shot of fireball and listening to a variety of music (played loudly, especially if it was something Luke Bryant). You never left June & Phil’s house hungry unless you didn’t return her Tupperware dishes (She loved a good butter tub) which she put to great use while baking with her mom Susie and sister Sheri.

June’s witty sense of humor enabled her to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. She didn’t like over the top or fancy. She would be the first to offer a helping hand as she loved her Friends and Family fiercely. The grandchildren were her pride and joys who enjoyed being spoiled endlessly by June with bologna & chocolate. Her big heart highlighted her kindness, generosity and social nature. June made it very easy to love her.

We will miss her telling her loving husband Phil “Hickman you’re cruising for a bruising.” We all know she had the patience of a saint along with other choice phrases that made us laugh that we won’t mention.

June had an amazing love for her mom, dad, sister and niece who she and Phil spent many Sunday dinners with. As Phil would say no one cooks like Susie. There is not enough time in a day to say all the things we will miss about June, but we will tightly hold onto our precious memories of her until we are together again.
